Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data CablesX collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

1. What we collect

• Order details — your name, mobile number, delivery address, email address if you give one, the items you ordered and the amount paid.
• Messages — the content of WhatsApp or email conversations you have with us.
• We do not collect or store card numbers. Card payments, where offered, are handled entirely by a third-party payment provider on their own secure page.

2. Why we use it

• To confirm, prepare and deliver your order, and to email you an order confirmation.
• To answer your questions and handle warranty or replacement requests.
• To keep accounting and tax records we are required by law to keep.
• To send you offers — only if you have asked us to.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share the minimum necessary with delivery couriers (name, address, phone) and with a payment provider if you pay by card. Our advertising and analytics providers — Google (Tag Manager) and TikTok — receive website usage data as described in section 8. We may disclose data where a UAE authority or court legally requires it.

4. Marketing

We only send marketing messages with your consent, and every message includes a way to stop them. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP on WhatsApp or emailing us.

5. How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as UAE tax and commercial law requires. Message history is kept only as long as it is useful for support, and is deleted on request where we are not legally required to retain it.

6. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to withdraw consent for marketing. Email support@cablesx.com and we will respond. You may also complain to the UAE Data Office.

7. Security

We limit access to order data to people who need it to fulfil your order, and we use reputable providers for payment and delivery. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. This website

This site uses Google Tag Manager and the TikTok pixel to measure how our pages and advertising perform. These services may set cookies and receive your IP address, device and browser details, the pages and products you view, and actions such as adding an item to the cart. We use this to understand which adverts work and to show relevant adverts on TikTok. Your shopping cart — and any delivery details you type at checkout — are saved in your own browser so you do not have to retype them; they stay on your device until you send them to us on WhatsApp. We also show recent purchase activity on the shop — the product ordered, the emirate and how long ago. This never includes names, phone numbers, email addresses or street addresses. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address in order to serve them. You can limit this tracking through your browser or device settings, or by using an ad blocker.

9. Children

Our products are sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
